Berton College also provides training classes for those want to immigrate to Canada or to apply for Canadian citizenship. All our courses are carefully designed according to the new immigration and citizenship polices, and all our teaching materials are designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The main instructional language is English, though it is supplemented by Chinese when necessary. We provide practice tests and exercises. We also invite renowned immigration consultants to give workshops on specific issues. These courses are:
-
IELTS-G 6.0 VIP Course: Designed for those who need to achieve the minimum English language requirement for immigration, which is the most-challenging issues for many non-English speakers.
-
IELTS-G 4.5 VIP Course: We guarantee you will achieve a mark of 4.0 in speaking and 4.5 in listening to meet the minimum language requirement to apply for Canadian citizenship.
-
CELPIP-General (CELPIP-G) Course: This test is required by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for those applying to immigrate to Canada under the Federal Skilled Workers Class, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Program, various Provincial Nominee Programs, and the new Start-up Visa Program. We use the teaching text books published by the University of British Columbia (UBC).
-
Citizenship Test Course: To prepare our students for the Citizenship Test, our experienced instructors will make sure that students have mastered the information in the government publication Discover Canada. As part of the program, we provide hundreds of test exercises to students.
-
Preparation for Citizenship Interviews and Immigration Judge Hearings: We are the right people to help you with your Citizenship Interview or Immigration Judge Hearing. In tutorials, our senior instructors will practice you for interviews with the Citizenship Officer or hearings with the Immigration Judge.
